My Days at Admiralty Pri School

I've started teaching since last Mon, 19 mar.

From the start, I kinda of like this job. Cos I feel that it is meaningful & challenger.

But today, as I'm writing this blog, to tell the truth, I'm very, very demoralise.

The kids are not autrocious. But it's the way you handle them and the way they portray you.

I can't control a class of kids! They can be very quiet before you enter their class, but the minutute i enter, they became very noisy. This happens to all of my classes.

So, what does this tell me? I'm a failure at handling children.

This i my 2nd week in school and my voice has become hoarse from shouting.

Our Dear Huijuan (2)....................

Regarding abt how our Huijuan ended up at Suntec, actually she did mentioned it to me before, which was before last X'mas. But I thought she only say say only.

Her previous childcare job was a contract one. Then after 4 mths, she can't tahan anymore so she decided to quit.

She's now working at a law firm in Suntec Tower 1, as a secretary. Seems like her work is very tough. She has to work until like 11 pm everyday. Cos there's a high turnover rate at her office.
She finds the environment quite ok, collegues quite ok, just boss sucks!

Hahahaa.................

Anyway, she said she intended to pursue a degree in law, or somewhat related to law.

She's still the same as before, but I almost can't recognize her! This shows how long we have never seen her.

She said she can't meet us is more or less cos' of work loh.

Haiz...anyway, at least we have some news of her now!

Our dear Huijuan....................

Guess what? Our dear Huijuan is actually working at Suntec!!!!!!!! She's in the same tower as me!

That woman, I met her during lunch time downstairs near the lift. Then both of us happened to see one another abt the same time!

Hahahahaa............details abt how come she's there, your can go and drill her! She has changed her phone, so the ring tone should be better than previous. If still the same, can go 'hum tum' her liao! Hahahahahaa.....................................

One more thing. I know where I'm posted to liao.

I'm posted to Admiralty Primary school!

I don't know whether I should be sad or happy abt the location. Haiz............ I just hope I can cope with whatever that is lying in front of me.


Any news from you guys? Where's Kian Ann and Ros whereabouts?

Very sad.......Girls nowadays......

Lately, there are many cases of teengae getting pregnant while still schooling. Most of the time, their partners are either their school mates, or someone they met on the internet.

Are girls nowadays getting stupider or wat?

Why didn't we encounter such cases in our batch?

Is it because teenagers nowadays are exposed to the internet so they think they know alot, much more than adults now? Or because more parents are working now, hence neglecting their kids at home, therefore they become stupider?

It is very , very sad.

At the stage of puberty, it is a time where they need 'crucial' care and concern.

Parents tend to think that: ' Oh, they are 14 yrs now, quite grown up already. Shouldn't care abt them that much now.' Hence they left their kids alone. It is when trouble comes that they realized it is a mistake!

In the past, parents teach by leading an example, meaning housewives who look after the children at home. With someone at home, there is less chance that the kids is led astray.

Now. the parents are not at home most of the time, who to educate them?

Teenagers by all means, are still children. They still need someone to educate them, though not as much control as before.

Haiz.......................why are girls so stupid nowadays? Is there any sensible ones around?

Earthquake tremors...................

Today quite happening for me today at office!

hAHAHAHHA......................we actually felt earthquake tremors in our office today!
I didnt feel it but my other colleagues did. I was too engrossed in my work liao lah. Haiz..........
Then after the 'woo haa' we went back to work as per normal.

Then my marketing manager went to talk on the phone with her friend at Suntec Tower 4 ( I'm at Tower 1), then we realized that everyone in other buildings have already gone downstairs, for evacuation!

hahaha.............my whole company very steady leh! We think very little of the earthquake tremors, didnt expect that everyone treated it so seriously!

Everyone had a good laugh man! Cos even our big big boss also cannot be bothered abt the tremors.

We were all joking that we all not scared to die one!. Hahaha.

Haiz.too bad I didnt feel the tremors.

My Leg H.U.R.T.S................................

Yo guys!

Remember whn we went to KBox, I did mentioned that I've sort of sprain my ankle? I remembered Mildred commented that it might be 'internal' injury as my ankle looks ok on the outside.

I finally went to see the chinese physician 3 days beofre chinese new year. And you know what? My ankle is in SERIOUS condition! hahahaah...................I almost dislocated it! Hahahaahah......

But then, up till now it's still not ok yet. have seen 2 doctors liao, later going back for treatment again. Argh..................I don't want my ang bao $$ to be spent on leg lah!!!!!!
