I am not what I think I am...........

Haiz.........after starting work for about 3 weeks, think I'm starting to show where my capability stands.

Seems like I'm not as capable as I thought to be.

Does anyone of you feel the same way?

Cos' I've been making some silly mistakes at work and being in export dept, it's best not to have mistkes cos it will often result in chaos at the forwarder's side. Remember Global Supply chain?
It's the same thing.

And I think I really learn a lot when working in the society, things that they don't teach in school. You have to have high EQ, learn how to mix around with your colleagues (they are of diff age grp as you, diff education background etc) & how to encourage yourself to have confidence again after making mistakes and after being scolded.

Maybe because I need a long time to chat up with people that's why I'm finding it quite diffcult adjusting to work place.

How about you all, Ros & Mildred?

great lunch today..thanks to caizhuang...

this afternoon, i had a great vegetarian lunch wif cz....hmmm, this is the second vegetarian stall that cz has intro me this holiday...haha....last week it was at a hawker centre at yishun Chong Pang..we had carrot cake and it was really good!!

today, cz brought me to another hawker centre near Bras Basah Complex (near cityhall) for another vegetarian 'cuisine'. We ordered a fish meat bee hoon soup, a tom yam fried rice and a hotplate beancurd...they were all delicious!! u guys drooling already? lolx...probably we shld all mit up one day and go there eat....

anyway, which weekend u all free? shall we go sentosa together or just mit up for lunch oso can....pls give me a day...haha...and are we celebrating x'mas tog this yr? =P

Hey...don't be disappointed. I'm suire you will have the chance to be a teacher. Who knows? Your chance will come after you graduate from NUS? And by then your starting pay as a teacher will be even higher. It's around $2K leh.

I'm happy to be selected but not very happy with the subjects I'll be teaching. English & Maths leh....... My English like half bucket one. If my students is an ABC, I think they will speck better than me! Hahaha.

I've actually wrote an email to MOE regarding about this isse.

Then they really did reply me!

They said that I don't qualify to teach Chinese, say must obtain at least an A1. haiz......
But then when I think about it: I had B3 for Eng 'O' level & a B4 for GP. This kind of results qualified to teach Pri Eng ?!


Anyway, at least I get to teach. Hahaahahha...............

Hello Everyone!

Wow, Caizhuang I think its a very good news u can be a teacher officially leh... I tried soooo many times also not granted an interview as a teacher. Haha.. No choice lah.. Cant be one. So u must cherish the chance.

Shiya aka Forwarder, why u say until no friends like that? Its v contradicting one lah.. Those that are working have sucky feeling cos cant enjoy and play. Those not working cant always go out too cos either no company or no income coming in. The best is to work a few days and play the remaining days. Haha.. part time play and part time enjoy!

Roslinah.. Hows ur job ? Is it stressful being a call centre agent? I knoe I cannot tahan.. haha.. I worked as temp then I 'ran away' after 2 weeks.

As for me, now must do payroll and the job of a staff who went on holiday. Very difficult and cant wait for christmas to come, cos when Christmas comes, it will implies I will be ending my job soon. The environment of the office also very different. Like all different age groups ( unlike last time) and with the new staff ( a guy )... working there has not been very enjoyable so far... Cos the guy is of a very different frequency.

Ok, let's cast all our unhappy worries aside!! Haha..Let me end with a joke:

The Reply From MOE........

hey guys! Finally........I've recevied the much awaited reply from MOE.

Remember that I mentioned about my interview? Hahhahaa......think some of you have already heard from me. I've been accepted by MOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!


But then, I have mixed feelings about this. I'm happy cos' I'm finally accepted. But on the other hand, I'm quite sad also. I've been hearing horrible stories about children nowadays. Haiz..think my nightmare will start next mar when i start teaching in mar.

And then, I'll be teaching General subject - English, Maths & Science.

Initially, I've opted to teach Chinese. But when my letter of appointment came, it became General subjects. I thought there was a mistake as my friends got what they have opted for.

When I called to checked, it turned out that MOE will decide what you teach.

But it may not be a bad thing. Cos like this, I may have a chance to fulfill my wish: to go to 3rd developing countries to teach voluntarily. Hahahha......

bored + feeling lousy ?

today i'm not only super bored, i'm kinda sad too...

dunno why, probably i just realise i dun haf much frens? its sch holiday and yet i do not have any programs at all....am not going out....trying to find pple out but realise the frens that i'm close wif are either working or already have their own programs...at tat moment, i just feel so frustrated....is like...aargh!! sometimes just feel being forgotten.....

how ya been? doing good? its been sometime aye....

i just got myself a job at chai chee working in a call center for an airline company. its been one week. and that one week was like going to sch for me as we've got our product knowledge training. my batch has like 40 odd ppl...there are interesting ppl there...most of them with ample working experience. working environment is nice. my clique of colleagues are fun too. nice ppl.

im also currently taking up some insurance modules...hehhe...unexpected i noe...i hate numbers but i realise i cant run away from it....i wanna give it a try and gain watever there is to be gained....hue.

the nus gals are having holidays uh....so good ya'all....huehuheue....shiya...i really hope to watch that project video of yours. boon siew...mildred....how is the going for the both of you? caizhuang good to hear tt ure liking ur new job. but anyway i juz wanna tell you should you dislike ur job or etc etc...my place is actually looking for people!...hehehe :p beep me if ya wanna noe more.

My life in NUS so far...

hi guys, it's been some time since i blog...now i got plenty of time to blog cos our exams are finally over!! yup, am excited over the dec holidays and yet at the same time worry abt my results...cos all our papers are not easy...the 3 of us really hope that we can pass all modules...pray for us k? heehee...

so wat have i done so far in nus...nothing much...always hanging ard wif mildred and boon siew....always rushing for lectures and lunch...this sem is quite hectic for me...but am so glad to haf the both of them ard wif me...at least i dun feel lonely...haha...

the next best time i had in nus was doin the video shoot for my management and organisation project...it was really fun making video and being the cast for my own video...my team members are great too...we had fun dressing up as bees...hopefully i got the chance to show u guys my video some day..
