--Black face (Not Me) Innocent Party (Me) --

Hi all

I'm here to update the happenings at work.

I used to enjoy working there, but recently, things have changed. Refer to the following incidents that occurred that made me displeased.

No 1: My supervisor is a 包公,erm, I should say 包婆 (coz she's a female mah..hahah). It actually refers to people who always display a black face (for NO reason), as if people owe them money or whatsoever.

Whenever I ask her about work related stuff, she would never fail to show me her charcoal face (I must clarify that I NEVER did anything wrong, merely asking for instructions about work). Not only me, but my other colleagues also agree that she has a black face. And she has serious Monday Blues , I must say it is DARK BLUE , meaning she has very serious monday blues problem.

What I wish to say to her is " If you have the guts, show your 'OR BIN' ( means black face in Hokkien) to YOUR boss lah!"

No. 2: Early on Monday morning, I was already dressed up nicely for evening's date with a friend. My mood was very good, but it was spoiled by my supervisor, whose first words to me were,

" Why you wear slippers to work huh!"

" Oh it's slippers meh? Got heels leh." I defended.

"Yes they are! You are not to wear that from 2mr onwards huh!"

Angered by her remarks, I determined not to talk to her except for work related stuff.

During lunch time, she asked me where I was going for lunch. She said she was going to lunch outside. I immediately replied

" Then I am going to have my lunch at the canteen upstairs."

The main reason was to avoid lunching with her.

She goes East, I go West. As simple as that.

No. 3: There's this Auntie in my department whom I feel she's very irresponsible. She will always say " I duno how to do" and dump her work to someone else to clear up the mess. ( Feel like pinching her face real hard man). I shall call her Auntie B in the following incident.

OK, there's this Auntie A (managerial position) who wanted Auntie B to prepare some report for her. Auntie B, as usual, said she duno how to do, and immediately pushed the work to me. Ooi Auntie, I also duno how to do leh, but bobian. While I was struggling to churn out the report for Auntie A, Auntie A was displeased and remarked (in an impatient tone)

"AIyo, like that you will take very long to do leh!"

I felt so innocent and helpless lor. I must admit, sadly, the remark was loud enough to gain attention from other departments.

Both FUCKING Aunties A and B! I was an innocent party OK!

What angered me more was the fact that this piece of assignment was ACTUALLY assigned to Auntie B ( and not me AT ALL. I wasn't supposed to be involved). It was all beacause of Auntie B's irresponsibiity that put me in hot soup.

I must bear with all the nonsense.

1 more month to go.

I am already counting down.

My 1st day back to school..............

Today is my 1st day back to teaching. Seems like I'm improving, and getting the hang of it.

There is this saying that if you feel like running away from your job, it means that you need to change your job. However, for my current job, the first time ever, I dun feel like escaping. Looks like I've found the job I like.

I'm still taking the prev classes I had from last sem. But there's additional new classes to take this sem. The new classes, haiz........................almost wanted to slap them. Hahahaah..........it's always like that for me when I meeting a new class. Cos' I can't seem to be firm with them. !st meeting mah..dun want them to hate me so much. But looks like I have to change my mindset soon. Or I will die for the rest of the semester.

Shiya: So how did your friend feel about her practicum? Heard from you that time she's going to a school for her attachment. ANy comments from her? Cos' maybe can exchange pointers and learn more from her.

Ros: Long time never see your post liao! Busy lately? Hope to hear news from you soon.

You guys are starting school in Aug. Maybe I can go NUS when Pri school have their 1 week break. Think by then you all will still be in sch and I having hols. >0<

Wish all of you doing well in you jobs!

Hi guys! Long time never come here liao. Here's some updates abt me.

Haiz........... it's confirm that I'll be going NIE next year. Cos I didnt pass my eng oral, so my name not 'pop' out in MOE's database. So.......I'll be going either in the Jan intake (if there is), or just have to wait till next year loh. Bottomline is, I have to pass my oral.

Happy and sad at the same time.

Happy cos I get to earn more $$$$ and gain more experience. Sad cos' I have to wait another yr wihile the rest have already finished their first yr of studies.

Just went for my staff meeting this morning. Last minute wanted me and other untrained teachers to help out in the P4 camp, starting next Mon. I was shocked man!
P4 leh! Very hard to control one. And it's a 3 days, 2 nights camp at Changi somemore. I just had a camp last week, dun feel like going for another one. And mind you, the camp has 200 over P4 students! Can die one.........

Luckily, last minute, the school say again; I no need to go for the camp. Heng................... but I got to go back to school and follow the timetable loh. Cos if I go for the camp, I wont be in school next MOn to Wed. Hahhaahah............

Hope to see more of your news up here.

I am being discriminated

Hi all,

Let me share with u all, my 'wonderful' experience in this company. Today I've just heard a news about me. I am being treated differently from another temp staff because I am NOT A CHINESE.

The HR dept is the most political dept in the entire organisation and yes, unfortunately, I have landed myself there. Initially, I don't see a difference in the treatment btwn me and the other temp staff *a chinese*. Till today, I finally recalled back the difference in my treatment and his.

I once greeted a HR lady :"Byee.." and smiled at her when it was the end of the day. She didnt even look at me and just walked off. The rest of the HR ladies will not joke with me and treated me like a stranger. Whereas, they will speak Teochew and Mandarin to the other temp staff...

Now I am enlightened..

A Company Flooded with Perverts

Hi Everyone,

My work is quite slack. But when there is stuff to do, it will come all at one shot. Goodness lor..There are alot of 'chee ko peks' in the company also.. Always make small talk and very not funny 'jokes'..I think they are very bored.

They keep asking me about my name..why I dont have a chinese name?..One of the staff even emailed and asked me in details regarding my name, and he even RECOMMENDED a few chinese names for me. I am not very happy because I think he is up to something. Later I found out from my colleague he is a 'CHEE KO PEK' [ a flirt or a pervert] . Goodness! I need to face such people in the company.

Updates.....

Hi everyone,

Time flies fast... One week of block leaves ended and I have to book in by tonight. During last week, Idalene asked me out. She asked me some question on my financial status and goal. Then she told me that she works as financial planner at Prudential company. According to the information given by me, she recommended 2 plans for me. And I brought it.

I realised that I have to start monitor and manage my finance for my retirement. Haiz.. why this world need money in order to live on??

The most disgusting thing I've ever seen

I boarded the MRT, as usual, from Sembawang MRT Station last Friday morning . Everyone in the train seemed normal, with nothing surprising to catch my attention.

Until this man caught my full attention.

No, he's not a hunk or what.

He was scratching his private parts. YES. In public. Inside the MRT. With many peepers watching. That's already a lewd behaviour. What's worse was that the scratching was not a one-time action. Instead, he kept repeating that sick action and even smelled his hand after the scratching. (More than 10 times I would say) Many people, including me, looked at him with disgust.

There's this Indian man who was so put off by the sicko's action. From what I observed, the Indian man was about to get off his seat and warn the sicko to stop the lewd behaviour. However, before he approached him, the sicko dashed out of the train when the train reached Khatib MRT Station. A second later, he was already out of sight.

Everything resumed normal after that.

I hope I won't get to see such things again.
